Brief
Create two posters about the same topic targeting two different audiences with two different kinds of infographics to display the information in the most effective way.
Concept
Exploring the history of milkshakes and the ingredients that make them up, thinking about how that can appeal to adults and children in a fun and exciting way.
Sketches
Audience
Children, learning how to make
a milkshake with their family. To cater to this audience, I created a large illustration with a sense of whimsy with minimal type that is compositionally similar to a board game.

Digital Process
I find it helpful to sketch out the elements roughly digitally with a bright stand-in color before moving forward with a composition. Then I work on the color choices, making sure they are colorblind accessible, and contrast enough for readability. Finally, I add the details and render it, making any needed changes to the layout.
Takeaways
The audience of your design is one of the most important things to consider when designing. It informs everything in the ideation process.
